Hosting my 49th birthday at Ora Tulum was nothing short of magical. I brought together 16 of my closest friends for a deeply intentional group journey, and from the moment we arrived, the hospitality was beyond anything I could have imagined. I even flew in my therapist to facilitate, and they welcomed her seamlessly into the space, ensuring we had the privacy and flow we needed.

The kitchen team was incredibly collaborative, working with my nutritionist to create personalized meals that honored each guest’s dietary needs, making everyone feel nurtured and celebrated. Beyond the impeccable service, what made this experience truly exceptional was the freedom we had to celebrate in our own way. I’m so used to staying at properties where everything feels forbidden, where “no” is the predominant word. It was refreshing to be in a space that embraced ‘yes’—where I was encouraged to design my birthday experience exactly as I envisioned.

The accommodations were luxurious, the scenery was breathtaking, and every experience was designed to bring pure joy, presence, and delight. Seeing my friends completely at ease, laughing, sharing, and feeling free to be themselves was the greatest gift. Ora Tulum created the perfect setting for a birthday celebration filled with love, connection, and deep gratitude—an experience I will wholeheartedly cherish forever.
